Product Description
The fine line drawings of Charles Dana Gibson gave us this antique Gibson Girl, the feminine ideal at the turn of the century. She was soft, romantic, with hair pinned neatly into her “crowning glory.” If you wanted to see that hair flowing free, you’d better be prepared to put a ring on her finger!
This antique Gibson Girl is a repousse silver pot metal cameo brooch. The design measures approximately 26 mm from top to bottom and 24 mm parallel to the clasp. That translates to 1 inch in diameter. The design stands in high relief above the background of the brooch. The clasp helps to date this brooch to the dawn of the 20th century. This petite beauty weighs in at 1.5 grams overall. Our jewelry is polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
**Our unique jewelry is always boxed for shipping.**
