Tumbled Aventurine is the natural star of this show, highlighted with three stunning hand knapped green agates. This natural Aventurine Agate necklace is hand strung with care and finished with sterling silver, as is fitting for such rare beauty.
Aventurine is associated with the heart chakra and is the semiprecious birthstone for the month of May. Moss agate is also associated with May birthdays, and my original plan was to use moss agates to highlight this necklace… Then I found these solid green agates, hand knapped and just waiting for their chance to shine. What can I say? I fell in love with them and the rest was history.
This Aventurine Agate necklace is a princess length strand, meaning that it is approximately 18 inches long. It was hand strung at my workbench so I can be certain that the spacers and findings are .925 sterling silver. Sterling silver will patina over time. This process is natural and will reveal highlights with your touch. We do not recommend the use of corrosive polishes or dips.
