Black and silver, one of the most dramatic combinations found in fine jewelry. This finely etched pendant brooch features a Siamese dancer silhouetted against a niello enamel background. Design elements in the dancer’s clothing and stance are illuminated in unusual detail. The exquisite pierced work surrounding the edge is as graceful as any lace trim.
This piece is unique among Siamese niello jewelry in that it includes a makers mark: ESC. The enamel and etched sterling silver are in absolutely beautiful condition. The bail and original safety clasp are secure and in good working order.
The black and silver design measures 70 mm from top to bottom (including the bail) and 50 mm at the widest point. That translates to approximately 2.75 inches tall by 2 inches wide. The back is marked .925 and this piece weighs 10 grams overall. Our jewelry is polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
**Our fine jewelry is always boxed for shipping.**
