Product Description
This Cavalier Kingsley enamel box reveals the fashion of the day circa 17th century England. Upheaval was the name of the game in society, and couture is nothing if not a sign of the times! Multiple fabrics, multiple patterns and moment to moment changes in neckline and sleeve length were all designed to stay one step ahead of the growing mercantile (middle) class and their hunger for the styles of nobility.
Kingsley Enamels focus on celebrating uniquely English scenes and history. This Cavalier costume tribute is in excellent condition, inside and out, with the hinge in perfect working order. Please note that the lids in this Kingsley Historical Costume series do not snap closed as so many others do. The lid is designed to lay flush against the rim of the box, but if upturned, the lid will open naturally with gravity.
This Cavalier Kingsley enamel box measures 2.25 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches from top to bottom. It does not have the original display box, but you can rest assured that it will arrive in a gift box worthy of it’s quality and style.
** Our fine enamels are always boxed for shipping. **
