This is a single decade moss agate pocket rosary, handmade with love. The decade is finished with a natural tumbled agate Our Father bead. The historic cross and St. Cecilia centerpiece (fob) are hand cast at the WhyteWing workbench.
For those who include crystal work in their faith, moss agate is a visual distinction, not a geological one. These moss agate stones are natural prehnite with inclusions of iron that cause the appearance of “moss” within the stone. Prehnite is said to connect your will to your heart. With your will and your heart aligned, both prayer and action are pure and strong.
Our moss agate pocket rosary measures 9 inches total, including the 1.25 inch fob and the 1.5 inch cross. The rosary is joined with copper in a wrapped wire technique, sure to last for generations.
Bronze and copper will both patina over time, revealing highlights with your touch. The process is natural; Corrosive solvents or polishing dips are not recommended.
