Product Description
This is just the sweetest thing ~ I’m completely smitten!
Cinderella’s coach is the crown of the chatelaine. The coach is pressed brass embellished, with prong-set rhinestones that are just as bright today as they day they were first set. The right dangle shows a brass mouse and a silver steed, transformed to draw the carriage to the ball. The center dangle shows the all-important clock and a brass cupid floating over a silver heart, poised to strike up a romance. The left dangle shows the “glass” slipper (in brass), the golden crown and a silver heart with an arrow through it… Cupid’s bow has done it’s romantic work!
This piece is surprisingly balanced for a flight of fancy. It isn’t marked but style and construction lead me to believe it is a 1940s creation, pre-dating Disney’s version of the classic Cinder Girl story.
The overall design is 80 mm (just over 3 inches) from the top of the coach to the bottom of the center (longest) dangle. The coach is 50 mm at the widest point. As mentioned, it’s mostly brass with a few silver alloy accents. Total weight is 14 grams. Our jewelry is polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
**Our unique jewelry is always boxed for shipping.**
