Featuring a Teddy’s Picnic of cupcakes and honey, the whimsical design is set in reds and blues and embellished with genuine 22kt gold. This design by John Ablitt was commissioned by Royal Crown Derby to compliment their style of fine imari paperweights offered in the late 1990s. Manufactured by Crummles to an exacting standard, this hand painted enamel trinket box became available in 1998. This is a limited edition piece, numbered 24 of 750.
The condition of this hand painted enamel is excellent. The lid and base are in pristine condition, inside and out. The copper findings, in particular the hinge, are in like new condition. The outer display box is a replacement; The original display box and certificate are not available.
