Product Description
Kingsley enamel box featuring a pair of green wing teal ducks. The base of the box is the same deep woodland green found around the eye of the gentleman Green Wing Teal. The waterfowl design is transferred to the enamel and includes the signature of of the original artist.
Green-winged Teal birds are relatively small North American ducks. They feed on shallow bodies of water and in flooded fields. They breed in dense vegetation along river deltas. During migration and winter, look for them on shallow wetlands, coastal marshes and estuaries.
Inspired by the Halcyon Days Revival of hand painted enamels, Kingsley Enamels focused on celebrating uniquely English scenes and history. This trinket box measures 2.5 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches tall. The enamel and copper findings are in beautiful condition. The original display box is not found, but rest assured that this fine piece will arrive in a box worthy of the design.
