Strong work created in folded bronze, using heat to allow the materials to shape themselves organically. The outer surface is embellished with brass lightning strikes on the heated bronze surface. The brass flows naturally, creating a one of a kind pattern determined by the elements themselves. The edges of this piece are folded, adding strength to the finished form. The fired bronze is heavy with copper, showcasing the deep rosy glow in contrast to the bright brass.
The asymmetrical folded bronze design ranges from 20 mm to 32 mm wide and is sized to fit an 8 inch wrist. As is the case with most mixed metal pieces, the metal content is unmarked. This piece is made primarily of bronze (copper alloy) and it weighs 38 grams. Our jewelry is polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
