Product Description
Beautifully detailed enamel box created in 1989 for the Halcyon Days Collectors Circle. The Tea Party original design is an 18th century engraving by Robert Hancock; The adaptation for this 20th century piece is drawn by Rodney Shackell.
This enamel box is in mint condition with display box and pamphlet, as shown. The featured Tea Party design is hand painted on each box of the limited edition. The embellishment is genuine 24 ct yellow gold. The ground of pale blue swiss dot is an homage to a documented 18th century snuff box featuring this scene. Even the side views are hand painted with 24 ct gold embellishment framing the bouquets at the front and back. This particular piece is number 102 in the limited edition of 500.
