Product Description
Beautiful cloisonné Honey Bee bracelet charm, rendered in 3D and likely to take flight at any moment! Are you the Queen Bee? Or just sweet as honey?
Across Europe from Ireland to Germany and beyond, the old world practice of telling the bees is well known. In the 18th and 19th centuries, when the practice was most common, active, healthy bee hives were a substantial asset to a household. A marriage, the arrival of a newborn, the departure of an old soul; Telling the bees seemed to create a blessing for the family as well as for the Queen and her subjects.
This is a modern charm created in traditional artisan cloisonné. From tip to tail, as they say, it measures approximately 20 mm long ( .75 inches) and weighs 2 grams. This piece is traditional cloisonné, made of enamel on copper. It has been polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
**Our unique jewelry is always boxed for shipping.**
