This Hungarian moss agate necklace features some of the finest natural stones I’ve ever seen. Deep forest green matrix moves through the translucent stone like silk moving in water. These three-sided stones were hand shaped in a century long past.
Though the agate stones are antique, you’ll find them freshly strung on sterling silver serpentine chain. Accents of silver and carnelian lead to a graceful silver shell clasp. The antique clasp was fully restored at my workbench and is in perfect working order.
This Hungarian moss agate necklace is 20.75 inches long, including the clasp. There are 13 hand shaped stones that measure from 40 mm to 20 mm long. The chain and all findings are solid sterling silver. The overall weight is 78 grams (just under 3 ounces).
