Product Description
This is a sterling silver (.950) perfume bottle, created in Japan. The bottle is hexagonal (six-sided) with fine abstract etched leaves on each side. The lid is a graceful abstract of flower petals.
In Japanese design, the hexagon is derived from the pattern of shapes on a tortoise shell and represents longevity. Kikkō hanabishi, a textile pattern where a flower is placed in the center of each hexagon, is seen as particularly auspicious. This artisan perfume bottle presents that same pattern – a flower at the center of a hexagon – when viewed from the top.
This tiny flask measures 47mm tall and 20mm wide from point to point. It weighs 12.6 grams overall. Our fine collectibles are polished by hand; No solvents or corrosive dips are used.
Please take your time with the photos and consider them part of the description. This is the actual item you will receive, as-is, exactly as you see here. Please let me know if you have any questions and feel free to check out the many treasures available in my shop!
