Product Description
This Georgian Costume Kingsley enamel box features the dipping necklines and the rising hem lines, revealing the (deliberately gorgeous) petticoat beneath.
Inspired by the Halcyon Days Revival of hand painted enamels, Kingsley Enamels focus on celebrating uniquely English scenes and history. This Georgian costume tribute is in excellent condition, inside and out, with a hinge in perfect working order. Please note that the lids in this Kingsley Historical Costume series do not snap closed as so many others do. The lid is designed to lay flush against the rim of the box, but if upturned, the lid will open naturally with gravity.
This enamel box measures approximately 2.25 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches from top to bottom. It does not have the original display box, but you can rest assured that it will arrive in a gift box worthy of it’s quality and style.
** Our fine enamels are always boxed for shipping. **
Please take your time with the photos, and consider them part of the description. Let me know if you have any questions and feel free to check out the many Kingsley enamels available in my shop! Sales from the WhyteWing website benefit The Trevor Project, but if you are more comfortable making your purchase on a platform like Etsy, this 18th century costume enamel is available in my shop there as well.
