Our Mary’s Heart pocket rosary is handmade from the heart, featuring a romantic silhouette of the Virgin Mary on the hand cast fob. Each moss agate stone is hand beaded onto rosy copper wire and finished with a single hematite stone above the cross. For this piece, I’ve cast a traditional crucifix in solid copper.
Moss agate is a visual distinction, not a geological one. These moss agate stones are natural prehnite with inclusions of iron that cause the appearance of “moss” within the stone. For those who include crystal work in their faith, prehnite is said to connect your will to your heart. With your will and your heart aligned, both prayer and action are pure and strong.
This Mary’s Heart pocket rosary is a single decade measuring 9.75 inches long. That includes the fob which is approximately 1 inch long, and the cross which is just over 1.5 inches from top to bottom. It’s a solid piece, weighing in at 23g overall, perfect for the weight of your faith!
Copper will patina over time, revealing highlights with your touch. This process is natural; Use of corrosive solvents or dips is not recommended.
