Gorgeous Arts & Crafts style statement ring, hand wrought in golden bronze and featuring a huge earth-mined emerald. Emeralds are soft, and the movement beneath the surface of this gemstone is a strong indication that it was never treated with heat or pressure to “perfect” it.
This emerald is egg-shaped and gently faceted to catch a bit of light and still echo the soft curve of a cabochon. A deep, closed back artisan bronze bezel holds the stone securely in place and adds to the high profile of the ring. The double wire work shank is closed on one side and bifurcated on the other.
This ring is currently size 6 and resizing is not recommended, though you could have a duplicate shank made to replace this one if you’re really committed to changing the size. The gemstone measures 26 mm from top to bottom and 20 mm parallel to the band. There is no signature or hallmark on this piece.
