Beautiful niello Siamese dancers charm shaped as a diamond with a scalloped edge. The niello enamel is silvery gunmetal gray and the body of the piece is sterling silver.
This charm belonged to a family member, so I am confident that it dates to the 1940s. It is a little larger than more modern charms, and the silver facet details are bright and lovely. It is shaped like a puffy diamond with a scalloped edge that echos the curve of the dancer’s position.
This charm is 3D and double sided. The image is etched into the brilliant shine of sterling silver on both sides of the piece. This charming duo of niello Siamese dancers is polished and ready to grace your wrist. It is 30 mm tall including the bail (approximately 1.25 inches) and weighs 2.5 grams.
