Product Description
This pierced silver scarab chain bracelet features nine artisan beetles linked end to end. The design of the carapace appears uniform from link to link, so those details are likely stamped or rolled onto the silver surface. Each individual scarab has been pierced by hand and a tiny file used to shape and remove the negative space around the beetle’s front and back legs. The artist’s hand is seen clearly in this detail work and in the hand shaped outer edge of each sterling bug.
Scarabs were a symbol of rebirth and transformation throughout ancient Egypt. A scarab was fabled to carry the sun across the sky, transforming day to night and back again. Surely these scarabs can help your light to shine!
Each pierced silver scarab link measures 10 mm across and the total length measures 7.25 inches including the clasp. The bracelet is marked sterling to indicate .925 purity and it weighs 10 grams. Our jewelry is polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
**Our fine jewelry is always boxed for shipping.**
