Pin Cushion Halo Ring, Sterling Silver and Copper

Artisan mixed metal showpiece. Mirror polished copper cabochon center surrounded by a sterling silver pin cushion halo, set on a substantial sterling silver band.

The modern halo first became popular in the 1920s. The style’s clean sense of drama emerged out of the Art Deco movement and has flourished ever since. Over the past century, halo rings have come in and out of fashion, with each era lending it’s own particular flavor.  This vision in post modern mixed metals is one of my favorites.

This pin cushion halo ring is currently size 5.5. The design measures 15 mm from top to bottom and 12 mm parallel to the band. The band is marked .925 and it weighs 6 grams. Our jewelry is polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
