Our Rainbow Pocket Rosary is handmade from the heart! This single decade rosary is natural hematite stone in all the colors of the rainbow, with a single brass Our Father bead just above the historic cross. The cross and Romantic Mary fob are solid bronze, cast right here at WhyteWing.
Speaking of hematite, this stone is gunmetal gray in it’s natural state. The high iron content allows it to be plated successfully with other metals. In this case, the stone is plated with titanium, then heated. The titanium surface turns into this brilliant rainbow. The wrapped wire work is solid brass, and as I mentioned, the cross and fob are solid bronze.
Each of these Rainbow Pocket Rosaries have hand cast cross and fob (centerpiece) in the Romantic Mary and Historic Cross designs. Hand wrapped wire beading completes a piece that will last through the years.
Bronze will patina over time, revealing highlights with your touch. This process is natural; Use of corrosive solvents or dips is not recommended.
