Kingsley Enamels trinket box celebrating the venerable pastime of riding to hounds. The scene depicts a large mounted hunting party in traditional English top hats and red wool riding coats, setting out just as the hounds are released. You can almost hear them baying in the distance…
The base of the box is curved and completed in the same deep carmine red of the riding coats. The bottom is marked with the Kingsley Enamels hallmark.
Inspired by the Halcyon Days Revival of hand painted enamels, Kingsley Enamels focused on celebrating uniquely English scenes and history. This applied image hunting tribute is in excellent condition, inside and out, and the hinge is in perfect working order. It measures 2.25 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches from top to bottom. This piece does not have the original display box, but you can rest assured that it will arrive in a gift box worthy of it’s quality and style.
