This one is really special; A bouquet of rose quartz in five decades, with warm rosy baroque pearls between each. This rose quartz rosary is beaded on sterling silver using the wrapped wire technique. The centerpiece is fine silver (.999) cast right here in the WhyteWing studio. Both the cross and the crucifix are vintage. In keeping with the mood, they bring the pale opulence of mother of pearl and the classic shine of sterling.
Rose quartz is the stone of unconditional love. Each glance of light through the stone spreads peace and healing, lifting your heart and calming the waters. It is sometimes cited as the birthstone for January (along with the traditional garnet) just as pearls are the gems of June.
This rose quartz rosary measures approximately 34 inches around the loop, with an additional 7.5 inches for the pendant from the centerpiece to the bottom of the cross. The centerpiece itself is 26 mm and the crucifix is 60 mm. That translates to 1 inch of fine silver and 2.25 inches (respectively) in vintage sterling. The wire work and chain are sterling silver. Overall, this rosary weighs 75 grams (approximately 3 ounces).
Silver will patina over time, revealing highlights with your touch. This process is natural; Use of corrosive solvents or dips is not recommended.
