Product Description
Antique rosewood jasper festoon necklace, hand wrought in sterling silver. The style is simple, almost elegantly primitive, setting the stage for the delicate jasper stones to shine.
Like tiger’s eye, jasper is a mix of quartz and chalcedony, tinted by the minerals in the soil where the stone was formed. These jasper cabochon have a hint of the same layered variation found in tiger’s eye, but with a much deeper rosewood hue. The color is rich and warm, catching and returning the light particularly from the three pendant drop stones.
In this rosewood jasper festoon design, each cabochon measures 8 mm long and the total necklace length is 16 inches. The silver is unmarked .925 and it weighs 7 grams. Our jewelry is polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
**Our fine jewelry is always boxed for shipping.**
