The centerpiece of any outfit! This gorgeous statement piece is home to 36 earth mined Sardenian rubies. The hue varies from gemstone to gemstone, but the overall collection is a saucy bold magenta pink. Each stone is faceted and set into silver plated open back bezels. I have no idea how many carats this represents (many, many!) but the overall weight is an impressive 5.5 ounces.
The necklace length is 18 inches which measures from clasp to clasp along the top of the ruby bib. As mentioned above, there are 31 natural ruby gemstones in this piece. The setting and chain are lightweight silver plated alloy, but oh how those genuine rubies do shine!
