Product Description
Each panel features a teal blue scarab beetle at the center, set in braided silver and surrounded by beaded silver embellishments. There are six filigree panels joined by hinges into one elegant cuff. The clasp is a hinge clasp as well, for a seamless appearance on the wrist. The edges of the panels are scalloped, creating the impression of fine silver lace.
The finished length of this bracelet is 7.5 inches; It is not adjustable. Each panel measures approximately 30 mm from top to bottom and 32 mm parallel to the length. Though there is no hallmark for the maker or the metal purity, this piece has been tested as .925 sterling silver. The total weight is 48 grams.
This beautiful scarab bracelet is 100 years old – a true antique – and in her travels she has lost two of the beaded silver embellishments on one panel. Think of them as her laugh lines showing when she smiles.
