Product Description
Completely stunning in sterling silver, this sculptural perfume bottle will fill your senses. Exquisite modernist porthole design is a treat for the eye and perfect in the hand. The top is punctuated with an onyx cabochon polished to a shine. It’s a perfect finish to such a clean, structured shape.
Onyx is such an interesting stone for crystal work… At it’s core, it encourages good decision-making. There are lots of other attributes discussed for onyx, including lending strength, courage and confidence. It is often credited with shielding against grief and other negative pitfall emotions. All of those benefits stem from the stone’s ability to support and manifest your own best decision-making abilities. Good decisions are the building blocks of your dreams, your goals, and each of your lasting relationships. Black onyx is a priceless ally to have at your side!
This sculptural perfume bottle is just shy of 50 mm (approximately 2 inches). It is 40 mm wide. The total weight is 30 grams, though it will weigh a bit more when filled with your favorite scent. It is marked .925 for sterling silver purity, and it is hallmarked by a Mexican assayers registration number from Taxco circa the 1970’s: TA-187. The T signifies the city where the piece was made (Taxco) and the A is the first letter of the last name of the maker. Unfortunately the assayers records were not preserved, so the identity of maker TA-187 has been lost to time.
