This sparkling quartz riviere necklace is bold in blue and yellow faceted gemstones. This piece is fashioned from solid quartz stones, dyed to these saturated primary colors. The effect is fantastic, whether these are your school colors or you just enjoy making a splash with your fashion.
Seventeen navy blue gemstones are accented by eleven sunshine yellow gems for a total of 28 stones in this riviere display. These are genuine quartz stones, confirmed with a Presidium professional grade gem tester. The opacity leads me to believe they are earth mined because there is no reason to grow an opaque (flawed) stone in a lab. It is likely they were heat treated to improve stability, and they are certainly dyed.
The setting is made up of silver tone open back bezels and chain. The necklace length is approximately 18 inches which measures from clasp to clasp along the top of the bib. The overall weight is 65 grams (approximately 2.5 ounces).
