Solid sterling silver bracelet charm, commemorating the 1914 Stutz Bearcat, one of the first vehicles designed specifically for racing. This charm was part of a 6 charm bracelet offered by the Automobile Association of America (AAA) to their members in the 1950s, celebrating how far automobile travel and commerce had come in just 50 years.
This charm is a beautifully detailed Stutz Bearcat on the front side. On the back, it is stamped Sterling and engraved with 1914 World War I Bearcat and the AAA insignia.
From bumper to bumper, as they say, it measures approximately 23 mm long (just shy of 1 inch) and weighs 3 grams. This piece is marked to confirm .925 silver content. It has been polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
