Product Description
Solid sterling silver Crawfish bracelet charm, rendered in 3D and full of detail. The front claws are articulated where they connect to the body and can be moved up and down.
The Indigenous people of Louisiana held the crawfish as sacred, giving the little crustacean a role in their creation myth and naming two of the region’s tribes after him. It is said that the Great Spirit created the world with the land under the water. In order to have the land rise above the water, he sent the Crawfish to the muddy bottom to bring the land up to the surface. This charm is beautifully sculpted in sterling silver. It’s a handmade piece created with an appreciation for the detail and quality of days gone by.
From tip to tail, as they say, this sterling silver crawfish measures approximately 1 inch long (25 mm) and weighs 2 grams. This piece is marked on the tail, .925 to indicate it is solid silver as promised. It was polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips were used.
**Our fine jewelry is always boxed for shipping.**
