Carved into the sterling surface of this perfume flask, the soft chrysanthemum petals are turning their face to the sun.
The 1950s were early days in the import of Japanese goods following WWII. The quality of this piece is exactly what you would expect of artisans introducing themselves to a vibrant new market. The overall weight in .950 fine silver is 18 grams so this petite beauty it is a substantial piece for it’s size.
From top to bottom, it measures 50 mm (approx. 2 inches) and at the widest point, 32 mm (approx. 1.25 inches) across. The perfume flask and dauber are in excellent condition. The original box is not available, but rest assured that we will include a gift box suitable to the style and quality of the piece. Our fine collectibles are polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
**Our fine collectibles are always boxed for shipping.**
