Product Description
For generations, one Florentine family has combined their skill with metal and their love of Italy, celebrating the history of their country with their creations. Most of the Coppini perfume funnels are from the early 20th century, created as practice pieces by apprentice and journeyman smiths honing their skills.
This design features a beautifully crafted golden bronze camel sculpted to embellish the basin of this silver perfume funnel. The sculpting is done with such a delicate hand that even fine details of the camel’s muscular build are visible. A cast silver lion’s head is applied as handle to the right hand side.
This funnel is a little wider at the top than some, leading to fewer splashes or spills, and has a slightly longer stem than most of it’s brass counterparts from the same time period. The patina you see is what has happened naturally over time, but the majority of this surface has been polished to highlight the silver.
