A turquoise stone in the clear bright blue of a desert sky, just before the heat of the day sets in. Heavy sterling setting by the hand of a pueblo artisan, showing beautiful precision in the feathers and scroll work framing the stone. This ring is a statement in bold elegance that any gentleman would be proud to wear.
The condition is excellent, but not original. This piece came to me as an empty setting, so the hand of a more recent artisan jeweler can be seen in the gentle shaping of the original sawtooth setting to hold this new stone. At some point in it’s history, the entire double band at the back was replaced, possibly in the process of resizing. The band is solid and secure, just as you would hope.
This ring is currently size 13, and it can be resized easily enough by your local jeweler if needed. The design measures 30 mm from top to bottom and 50 mm parallel to the band, extending down onto the shoulders of the ring. The back is marked sterling and it weighs 14 grams.
