Product Description
Our tumbled amethyst rosary is five decades beaded on solid brass. The cross and centerpiece are hand cast bronze featuring the Blessed Virgin Mary. The cross reveals Mary as Mother with the infant Jesus in her arms. As I worked the stone and metal, I focused on nurturing dreams of peace.
Amethyst is the stone of poets and dreamers, and the birthstone for the month of February. It is said to clear the way for psychic inspiration and guidance, and to set the creative juices flowing. Between each decade is a a hand cut crystal with the aurora rainbow finish, because you never know what shape your dreams may take.
This tumbled amethyst rosary measures approximately 23 inches around the loop, with an additional 5 inches for the pendant from the centerpiece to the bottom of the cross. The centerpiece itself is 20 mm and the cross is 45 mm. That translates to .75 inches and 1.75 inches (respectively) in golden bronze. The wire work and chain are solid brass. Overall, this rosary weighs 43 grams.
Bronze will patina over time, revealing highlights with your touch. This process is natural; Use of corrosive solvents or dips is not recommended.
**Our fine rosaries are always boxed for shipping.**
