Product Description
When my mother was just a little girl, she couldn’t wait to start school! She would sneak along behind her big brother as he walked to the one room schoolhouse. This Wells Sterling schoolhouse charm is an old fashioned rural school created in lovely three dimensional detail. It commemorates the final year of Wells production of fine bracelet charms 1931-1972.
This Wells Sterling schoolhouse charm is sculpted in solid sterling silver. It measures approximately 20 mm from doorstep to bell tower. That translates to .75 inches long including the bail and it weighs a substantial 6 grams. This piece is marked with the Wells Sterling stamp and the dates during which the company contributed to many lovely charms to the world. It has been polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
**Our fine jewelry is always boxed for shipping.**
Please take your time with the photos and consider them part of the description. Charms are properly installed when the jump ring is soldered closed. Purchases from the WhyteWing website benefit The Trevor Project, but if you are more comfortable shopping through a platform like Etsy, this silver school is listed there as well.
