Product Description
Beautiful Zuni sunface ring inlaid with traditional turquoise and mother of pearl. In this design, true blue lapis takes the place of coral, adding depth to the turquoise and bringing out the cooler tones in the mother of pearl.
This piece is signed with an FY, the hallmark used by Frank Yazzie of Zuni Pueblo, NM. Yazzie studied under Navajo silversmith Charlie Bitsue (his grandmother’s brother) and began making jewelry under his own name in 1935. I was not able to establish an exact date for this ring.
This Zuni Sunface ring is currently size 10. The design measures approximately 16 mm in diameter. That translates to roughly the size of a dime. The back of the bezel is marked Sterling to confirm .925 silver purity. It weighs 3.5 grams. Our jewelry is polished by hand; No corrosive solvents or dips are used.
**Our fine jewelry is always boxed for shipping.**
